Kandace discusses her career, being a valet at a hotel by day and gigging in that very hotel at night and her father, notable studio musician and how he helped to direct her into music. She’s loquacious and extremely affable when discussing how she deals with…pretty much everything. Kristin chats about her approach to social media, something she’s known for. Her decision to clap back verses play along and why her husband hasn’t joined in the fun are all touched on. From being married to an athlete and how she deals with Justin being away to her husband, noted as a quiet, stoic fella, getting involved in playing pretend with their daughter, Kristin is an open book. “The weight of the world is on the wive’s shoulders when our husband is in a slump. On location from Coca Cola Field! Outta The Park goes on the road to Coca Cola field to catch up with Sean Reid-Foley. Barry and Matt joined Sean on the field to recap his first major league start. Sean talks about his thoughts on the mound, the differences between the majors and triple AAA and how his upbringing affected his career path. Sean details the advice imparted on him by Blue Jays staff and talks about his prodigious moustache. Pat Malacaro, radio voice of the Buffalo Bisons, joined Barry and Matt to talk about the Bisons with a view from the top. Pat’s thoughts on Vlady, the up and coming Blue Jays and the players that are not being talked about but should be are all points of discussion. Pat chats about stepping in for Ben Wagner now that Ben has made the big leagues. The First Pitch talks empty lockers and how the game of baseball is in decline, as stated by some. Coons, writer of melodic rock, joined Barry to talk about his return to the music that made him write in the first place and how he had to dive into his past to propel his future. Cory talks about playing the Whiskey A Go-Go in LA and how surreal it was to be playing in the very place that many of the bands that he idolized got their start. He talks songwriting, his roots and how a move pushed his career forward. Ori Dagan rejoins us on Sessions to talk about how his latest album has blown up since we last spoke. Ori chats about his love of Nat King Cole and how the jazz scene has embraced his latest project. Kurt Nielsen is HEATED on the Bassline. He chats about missed opportunities regarding walk up music at Jays games. Its a wonderful tie in for our music and sports related content.
