Court is in Session! Criminal lawyers Adam Goodman and Scott Cowan are joined by Barry Davis to discuss Autism in sports. The guys touch on the cuts being made by the Doug Ford government with regards to those with Autism. Are these cuts against the Human Rights Act and, if they are, what are the next steps to be taken to bring this to the Supreme Court. How does Sports tie into all of this? Shouldn’t places like the Rogers Centre have a quiet room for those that suffer from sound intensity issues? The guys discuss exactly this. Local arenas should have accessibility for those that suffer from non visible disabilities that are affected by many of the ancillaries that go along with being in an arena setting. Speaking of local sports, are youngsters with disabilities looking to partake in sport being ostracized because of disability. Esther Oh, a criminal lawyer, joins the guys to discuss the Mississauga Crusaders, a special needs hockey team that caters to players with disabilities. She also outlines that various provisions that local hockey organizations have made for those with challenges. Its wonderful. All that and more… Its Outta The Court.
